Innovations in Food Analytics, an international conference & Expo will take place at the Stadthalle in Erding, north of Munich from 19th – 21st September 2018. The venue is adjacent to the old town centre of Erding and is easily accessible by car and public transport from Munich airport, situated approximately 15km from the venue. It is a unique venue for conferences and events, with spacious foyers and a total of seven flexible function rooms ranging from small conference rooms to the great hall providing space for upto 1000 guests. All rooms are tastefully decorated with elegant light wood, silver-grey granite and white marble. The Stadthalle is equipped with a professional audio-visual system. Good catering and friendly staff make it an excellent venue.

Getting there

By Car

Coming from the west and north of Munich west and north Munich (A 9):

Take the Mittlerer Ring road or the A 99 motorway to the München Nord junction, change to the A 9 travelling in the direction of Nürnberg, exit using the ramp at Garching Süd. Follow the road signs to Erding.

Coming from the south and east of Munich (A 94):

Take the A 94 motorway until the 9a exit -ramp (Markt Schwaben). Drive east following the signs for Munich Airport. Take the Erding-Süd/München/Dorfen exit-ramp in the direction of the B 388. Keep right so you can turn onto the B 338 in the direction of Erding-Süd/Dorfen, and then turn left at the next opportunity.

Coming from the north (A 92):

2 Take the Erding exit-ramp off-ramp or, if coming from the north-west, the airport turn-off. Follow this road in the direction of Erding.

Public Transport

You can buy tickets for public transport at vending machines in Munich's S- and U-Bahn train stations, at MVV and DB sales counters or in the bus directly from the driver. All day tickets for the whole Munich area (Tageskarte Gesamtnetzare available for single persons and for groups. Day tickets are valid until 6 AM of the next day. Bus Line 570 directly drops you at the Stadhalle Erding.

Using the Suburban train system (S-Bahn)

In the main train station in Munich (München Hauptbahnhof) get on the S2 to Erding and alight at the final stop, the S-Bahn station in Erding. It takes about 5 minutes to walk from there to the Erdinger Weißbräu Hotel. The old town hall is directly connected by the small wooden bridge to the Stadthalle.


Paid parking is available in the urban underground car park (P1) with direct access to the Stadthalle town hall entrance, Gießerei Straße.
